Your new role:
- Oversee and manage the maintenance, repair, small works and compliance function for our Local Authority client.
- Deliver a planned and reactive maintenance service in accordance with key performance indicators and quality standards.
- Have line management responsibility for a multi-disciplined direct delivery team and manage delivery through specialist subcontractors.
- Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement and that all Buildings & Asset Maintenance KPI’s have been achieved.
- Support with the provision of and ensure the delivery of the 1-year and 5-year life cycle forward plans.
- Manage all minor works and variations with the support of RFM projects teams.
- Carry out asset verification across the estate, ensuring all major items of plant are recorded on the CAFM system.
- Effectively plan PPM work for the maintenance team and sub-contractors using the FM CAFM system.
- Closely liaise with the client to ensure that all works delivered are to the required standard.
About you:
You’ll have extensive experience of leading a multi-disciplined maintenance team in the provision of Facilities Management services and customer liaison. You will be able to demonstrate your awareness of statutory requirements for compliance and balance the needs of quality and profit on the contract. Previous experience using CAFM and BMS systems is essential. The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS with child barred list check prior to starting in the role.
