Our client is currently seeking a Site EHS Leader to join a leading manufacturing company based in the Oxford area. As the Site EHS Leader, you will be responsible for implementing, overseeing, and adapting policies and programs to enhance the organisation’s environmental and safety performance, ensuring compliance with current and future regulations and standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities to ensure compliance with external regulations and internal policies. This includes monitoring environmental performance, conducting safety audits, and investigating incidents.
- Conduct risk assessments and assist the Site team in developing appropriate risk assessments.
- Serve as the ISO management system representative for Environmental and Health & Safety, developing and implementing policies to meet established EHS targets.
- Align EHS standards with corporate standards, assist with gap analysis, and monitor the organisation’s overall EHS performance to identify and recommend improvements.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant degree in a related field.
- Proven industry experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with ISO 45001/18001 & 14001 standards.
