Are you an experienced Gas Engineer with commercial experience looking for a new opportunity within a supportive team? We are looking for a Gas Engineer with Commercial experience to join our team in Windsor on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across 2 MoD sites in Windsor. This includes servicing, breakdowns and general maintenance. You will be working within a supportive team who, together, ensure that the site always operates to a high standard.
Key responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Maintain and service commercial gas boilers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Replace gas meters and booster sets
- Servicing commercial hot water cylinders
- Maintain and repair gas systems across the site
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues swiftly
- Review jobs and order materials to meet SLAs
- Collaborate with the Site Manager to complete and sign off job paperwork
Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working within a commercial environment as a gas engineer.
- Strong mechanical understanding that can be used to diagnose and resolve issues across the site
- Commercial Gas qualification (COCDN1) is essential; however, we will support you in obtaining any further certifications as required (CSGA1, CIGA1, COCN1 etc)
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade
- Good knowledge of commercial gas and heating systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass Security Clearance to work on MoD site
