Doctors Receptionist

Part time Receptionist required for a busy doctors practice based in Gloucester working upto 15/20 hours per week. Paying £12.21per hour with the opportunity to go permanent after a qualifying period. This position will initially be an on-going temporary basis with a possibility to go permanent for the right candidate. With a reception team of around 5, our client is a small Gloucester practice but with a patient base of around 5,000, the surgery can become a very busy place. The role will include: Greeting visitors to the surgery Adding new patient records Opening and sorting the surgeries postRegular hours will be Monday 8.15am til 1.15pm, Thursday 1.15pm til 6.30pm and Fridays 2pm til 6.30pm. A Tuesday shift may also be required. You will be given 15 hours per week minimum with shifts allocated in advance. Some ad hoc shifts might arise to cover unplanned absences. We are looking for an approachable person with an ability to cope under pressure. You will need to be computer literate as a high volume of work will be computer based.
