Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Structural Engineering to lead our marine structural design and analysis initiatives. This position would suit a highly skilled Naval Architect to assist in the design of innovative, state-of-the-art floating marine hubs for sustainable infrastructure and energy production. This senior leadership role requires deep technical expertise in both rule-based and first-principles marine structural design, with a strong emphasis on topsides and outfitting.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in applying standards from Flag and Classification Societies, and be adept in the use of Finite Element Methods (FEM) for the structural assessment of complex, large-scale marine systems. A proven ability to produce Class-compliant structural plans within spatial, budgetary, and construction constraints is essential.
The successful candidate will possess a BEng or MEng (preferred) in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Maritime Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Chartered Engineer status or active progress toward accreditation is required.
