Our London flagship OneWelbeck in the West End of London is a specialist facility with nine floors of minimally invasive day surgery and outpatient diagnostics. We are seeking an ambitious, dynamic Centre Director to lead a unique, private patient ‘One-stop-shop’ Digestive Health Clinic that is located on Welbeck Street in Central London. We are looking for an outstanding Centre Director to manage the Digestive Health Centre at 1 Welbeck Street, London.
- Accountability for the day-to-day management of the centre.
- Ensuring that all administrative and clinical staff are effectively organised and managed to provide an efficient infrastructure that enables delivery of top-quality care.
- Identify opportunities to grow the centre revenue and profitability.
- Responsible for managing the centre’s budget and involved in financial planning.
- Ensuring the centre’s activities and records adhere to regulatory requirements; evaluating performance and developing action plans for improvement.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement that focuses on quality and patient satisfaction.
- Selecting, orientating, supervising, and evaluating the performance of all staff.
- Maintaining standards of performance and assisting in the development and completion of personal development plans for all staff members.
- Actively seeking opportunities to continually develop own knowledge and that of the unit staff.
- Ensure appropriate processes and outcome management are in place to meet the requirements of all accreditation bodies, including but not limited to CQC, in the role as registered manager for the centre.
Experience in healthcare management including all aspects of an independent clinical practice (e.g. admin, operations, commercial).
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field.
Recognised management training/qualification is desirable.
An understanding of regulatory requirements & compliance in the healthcare industry.
A commitment to providing the highest-quality patient care and an ability to maintain and improve standards of care in a complex and dynamic environment.
