We are looking for a passionate Account Director to join our growing Client Services team. Working on both human and animal health, you will be responsible for:
- The successful running of your designated accounts by understanding the client’s world (their goals, priorities, brand, strategy and competition)
- Meticulous account planning encompassing accurate long- and short-term resourcing, financial management and forecasting
- Maintaining organisation and efficiency, even when managing multiple clients and initiatives
- Drawing upon the quality work developed to grow both organic and de novo new business
- Contributing to the improvement of Cognite as an agency by providing ideas and initiatives that will strengthen our business
With a deep interest in science and medical communications, we believe someone with the following qualities and experience could be a good match for this role:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant science (essential) or a postgraduate qualification or PhD (desirable)
- Previous experience as an Account Director within a medical communications agency or similar
- Previous experience in animal health is desirable but not essential
- A solution-orientated problem-solver
- A genuine passion for science and a desire to continuously learn about and engage with projects our clients are working on
