DCS Technology are searching for an experienced and passionate Test Analyst to join our FinTech client on a contract basis. If you have experience with manual, automated testing and Azure DevOps this could be the role for you!
What will you be up to?
You will be responsible for writing and executing software testing across the entire platform. Ensuring that the released software works according to expectations and that it is fit for purpose. This includes creating detailed test cases, executing manual and automated tests, documenting results and managing defects through the fix cycle.
Key experience required:
- Azure DevOps (or equivalent) - with the ability to use all functions throughout the entire application.
- Experienced with virtual machine concepts.
- Basic knowledge of and ability to execute automation tests from within Visual Studio such as amending and updating automation scripts to suit immediate testing needs and life-cycle of product.
- Experience with SQL, an understanding of concepts around relational databases with the ability to use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to query and manipulate data.
- Creating and documenting logs and trackers of defects across multiple projects.
- Knowledge and ability to create basic performance and load tests.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Selenium.
- Fluent and creative in writing manual and automated test plans, cases and scripts.
- Adaptable and quick in identifying new ways or completing additional tests and functionality or when to remove necessary defects.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of both software and hardware environments.
- Clear and concise communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Proven track record in effective organisation and deadline adherence.

- Day rate: £400 per day
- Determination: Inside IR35
- Working model: Hybrid (a mixture of office and home based)
