3 days/week in office in Milton Keynes

Our client within the spectator sport industry is recruiting for a Data Protection Manager to support the Head of Data Protection in rolling out a new and improved data protection framework across their consumer-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Data Protection in the implementation of the global data protection framework
• Manage data protection operations – including handling DSARs, data mapping, DPIAs etc.
• Handle data protection related queries from the business
• Design & deliver data protection training to the business
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments & best practices

Requirements

• C. 4+ years of data protection experience
• Prior experience working in data protection in a dynamic B2C environment is desirable
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Experience in managing data protection operations (i.e. DSARs, DPIAs, ROPA, data mapping, handling data breaches etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
