We’re on the lookout for a proactive and experienced Quality Engineer to join a growing team, with a specialist focus on special processes such as soft metal heat treatment and testing.

About the Role:
As the Quality Engineer – Special Process, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance across special process activities, including regular audits, NADCAP preparation, and supporting production teams with your technical expertise.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining NADCAP and other client heat treatment/testing approvals
- Conducting internal audits and leading improvement actions
- Overseeing CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives
- Preparing for and hosting NADCAP and customer audits
- Collaborating with suppliers on calibration, maintenance, and testing
- Acting up for the Quality Manager as needed
About You:
We’re looking for someone with solid aerospace or automotive quality engineering experience and a working knowledge of special processes. The ideal candidate will be confident in audit environments and passionate about compliance and continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise in soft metal heat treatment processes & testing
- NADCAP knowledge/experience highly desirable
- Solid understanding of QMS (Quality Management Systems)
- Comfortable interpreting technical specifications
- Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills
- IT literate (SAP, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
- Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
