Audit Manager/Senior Manager - Milton Keynes

Main Duties: Audit of a large range of corporate clients including groups and overseas subsidiaries Reporting directly to partners and liaising with other managers as required Planning, supervision and review of audit and accounts cases including preparing notes for partners Main point of contact with clients and liaising with clients both face to face and on the phone/video- link/email on day to day issues Assisting staff with technical accounting and auditing problems Identifying and capitalising on opportunities and prospects for new work Delivering confident and clear presentations of service features and benefits to clients Assessing and producing high quality work in line with the Firm’s policy and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements Taking ownership of projects, effectively delegating to others within the team and taking responsibility for quality control.Actively seeking to enhance expertise and knowledge Developing the audit function in Milton Keynes and synchronising with the other offices Supervision and development of staff and providing leadership to the department Assisting in preparation and delivery of pitches for new clients Billing and monitoring actual costs against budgets and reporting to partners on variances Drafting bills on a monthly basis for review by partners Liaising with the Corporate B…
