The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Working in Central Services you will ensure all HSE requirements on Defence, Healthcare, Education and Local Government contracts are being upheld, throughout the South of England. This is a site and project based position and you will be happy to travel to various locations in the South of England. This role provides competent first line advice and support on health, safety and environmental protection matters to the various contracts.
- Compliance with HS&E legislation, health, safety and environmental requirements
- Interface, communicate, liaise and maintain effective relationships with contract and internal HSE Management Team
- Produce reports and identify remedial action, ensuring effective implementation
- Ensure that Contractor employees, sub-contractors and suppliers all work in accordance with health, safety and environmental protection requirements
- Monitor housekeeping standards across the Contract, identify and implement improvement activities
- Review and where necessary complete risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work
- Provide COSHH assessments where required and ensure effectiveness of Supply Chain documentation
- Ensure that PPE is being used in accordance with requirements
- Ensure that health and safety signage and guards are in place and maintained
- Monitor fire precautions to ensure compliance with Standards
- Ensure that all emergency procedures and requirements are in place and are effective
- Ensure that the CDM Regulations are applied where necessary to company Standards
Experience
- Health and safety guidance
- Defence, NHS or high-risk environment experience (Desirable)
- CDM and Hard FM experience
- NEBOSH
- IOSH (Desirable)
