Senior Development Manager - London

I am looking for a Senior Development Manager to join one of the leading names in Development. The company focus solely on large scale, residentially led schemes in London and have an exceptional land bank, both solely owned and also in partnership with major land owners in the city. They are incredibly busy and are in a significant growth trajectory.

The role of Senior Development Manager is to focus on the early stages of the Development lifecycle, with ownership of schemes from heads of terms, through to the point of construction, with a focus on design and planning to create meaningful projects. They have an experienced team, who work both autonomously and as a part of a team on their projects. This role would suit someone who is already client side, and looking to join a business with a strong pipeline of projects to work on.

The Senior Development Manager will:

• Work alongside the land team to ensure acquisition of deliverable schemes
• Take ownership of new and existing projects within the portfolio
• Select, appoint, and manage external professional teams
• Lead on design meetings
• Manage key internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead on planning applications for schemes and attend all key meetings
• Create detailed feasibility and viability assessments.

The successful candidate will:

• Have client-side experience with a London developer
• Have successfully obtained planning consents for residential schemes
• Be able to lead projects from stages 1-4
• Have at least 6 years client-side experience

Salary and Benefits

• £80,000 – £100,000
