Jointer

We are looking for experienced LV Jointers to carry out gland and termination work on low-voltage (LV) cables ranging from 10mm² to 400mm² for industrial and commercial projects across the UK. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of cable jointing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing glanding and terminating of single-core and multi-core LV cables (10mm² – 400mm²).
• Ensuring all terminations meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Working with a variety of cable types, including SWA (Steel Wire Armoured).
• Adhering to electrical safety regulations and best practices.
• Collaborating with site teams to ensure efficient installation and commissioning.
• Conducting inspections and testing to verify quality and compliance.

Requirements:

• CSCS/ECS Card (Essential)
• Previous experience in LV cable jointing, glanding, and terminating.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience working in industrial environments (factories, substations, commercial sites, etc.).
• IPAF (Preferred but not essential) for working at height.
