Life Works, located in Woking, Surrey, is a highly respected private rehabilitation centre with a unique therapeutic environment, leading the way in addiction and eating disorder treatment. About the Role:
We\’re looking for a Ward Manager to lead and support our dedicated Nursing and Healthcare team. This is a supernumerary role (typically Mon-Fri, 9-5), offering both clinical and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day nursing operations and staffing
• Oversee rosters, workforce planning, and recruitment
• Supervise and develop nurses and HCAs
• Contribute to patient care, assessments, and care planning
• Maintain clinical standards and support governance
• Participate in the on-call rota with senior colleagues

What We\’re Looking For:

• NMC-registered nurse with 3+ years\’ experience
• Strong clinical and managerial background
• Ideally experienced in addiction and eating disorder care
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
• Motivated, resilient, and an effective team leader
• Committed to high standards and compassionate care

We are easily accessible from the A3 and M25 and a 30 min walk from Woking Train station.
