We are looking for Compound Drivers to join our client’s team in Sheerness. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading automotive companies, supporting day-to-day operations in a busy vehicle compound. Full-time drivers will be prioritised for this role, however part-time availability may be considered for the right candidates.
The Role:
- Safely move vehicles within large compounds, including in and out of workshops and designated parking areas.
- Handle a variety of vehicles, from standard family cars to high-performance and electric models.
- Conduct basic vehicle condition checks prior to movement, reporting any visible damage.
- Work efficiently in all weather conditions while wearing safety boots and car-friendly clothing.
The Person:
- Full UK driving licence, held for at least 2 years, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Confident in driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Comfortable working outdoors and covering long walking distances when required.
- Previous professional driving or compound experience is desirable.
