Are you an experienced People Manager looking to make an impact at a senior level? We're seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join a food and agricultural business where you will shape, lead, and execute people strategy across the business. You'll be responsible for the full employee lifecycle and ensure the company's culture and values are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of People strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and values.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the People team, supporting the growth and engagement of their employees.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to deliver initiatives that promote a positive working environment.
  • Spearhead recruitment, retention, and talent management strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Drive key people initiatives such as diversity, equity, inclusion, sustainability, and community engagement.
  • Lead training, development, performance management, and employee reward programs that enhance employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with best practice policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Analyse People data to inform decision-making and proactively offer solutions for business improvement.
  • Oversee the people budget and contribute to setting and forecasting annual costs.

Is this you?

  • Proven experience in a senior HRBP or People Manager role.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or working towards).
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with colleagues at all levels.
  • High degree of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong MS Office and HR database skills.
  • Ability to travel to other sites across the UK when required.
