Randstad is recruiting Teaching Assistants for primary schools in the Chesterfield & Sheffield area. You\’ll play a key role in supporting children\’s academic and emotional development within both mainstream and SEND environments.

Essential Requirements:

• Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience supporting pupils in a primary setting
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Strong classroom management and initiative
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and phonics approaches
• Eligible to work in the UK without Sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering targeted support to individuals and small groups
• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering learning activities
• Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting children with additional or complex needs
• Monitoring pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
