You are a proactive and skilled member of the Maintenance Engineering team, dedicated to ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. You have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. As a member of the Maintenance Engineering team, you will work under the direction of the Engineering Line Owner to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. Your key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating safe working behaviour and conforming to site safety standards.
- Leading behavioural safety programmes.
- Ensuring product quality through appropriate maintenance activities and reporting identified failures.
- Issuing ATW, Hot Work, and Working at Height permits when required.
- Developing and executing planned maintenance activities to improve reliability and support SAP PM and other systems.
- Driving root cause analysis, coaching and mentoring shift engineers, and embedding TPM pillars.
- Monitoring reliability metrics and supporting the transition to proactive maintenance.
- Delivering innovative solutions to reduce downtime.
- Contributing to the site capital investment programme by highlighting areas for improvement.
- Supporting stock accuracy and service levels through adherence to stock control policies.
- Identifying skills gaps, contributing to training plans, and developing automation capabilities.
To be successful in this role, you need qualifications and professional experience, including an Indentured Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC within Engineering Discipline, and years of experience in an engineering-based field (FMCG environment would be an asset). You need skills and knowledge such as:
