Temp to perm - City centre offices - Hybrid - Administration

Your new company:

City centre, regulatory organisation are recruiting an Assessment Assistant on a temp to perm basis. They offer hybrid working, but the candidate will need to be flexible to work in the office when required.

Your new role:

The successful candidate will be providing administrative support to the team, with the set up and running of meetings, assessments and events held at the office. Supporting the attendees throughout the process. Assisting before, during and after any assessments to ensure candidates have a positive experience. Administrative support will include:

  • Preparing documents, printing and laminating materials and ordering stock.
  • Updating records to the company database.
  • Handling written correspondence with candidates in a professional manner.
  • Managing queries from candidates and internal teams.
  • Booking and setting up rooms, ensuring any equipment and catering required is managed.
  • Welcoming attendees and completing standard checks with them.
  • Minute taking.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within an assessment environment.
  • Proven experience of working successfully to deadlines and prioritising your own workload in a busy team to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Keen eye for detail with experience in editing written material and proofreading.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Understanding of data protection act.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external teams, confident in effectively communicating in written correspondence professionally and empathetically.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience of working well within a team and contributing to improvements within the team.
