Publishing Sector, 12 month contract

The business has an excellent reputation and is able to partner with world-class authors and industry experts to produce top publications and digital content for professionals.
The Opportunity
The business now has a need for a commercial lawyer, ideally with IP (copyright) to join for 12 months. The role will provide key legal support to the business on commercial contracts as well as IP rights, licensing and copyright. You will negotiate media and digital content agreements as well as key commercial contracts with partners, authors and editors. You will also be involved in contractual disputes and copyright infringement matters, as and when they may arise.
About You
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior commercial/IP or media lawyer to join a highly respected listed company for 12 months. Whilst commercial contracts experience is key, IP experience (particularly in relation to contentious and non-contentious copyright matters) would be useful. The position will suit an individual who enjoys a collegiate and collaborative environment with a degree of intellectual rigour and a clear purpose.
