A global financial technology company is looking to hire a Sales Director to lead new business and account growth across the buy-side segment. Focused on institutional asset managers, hedge funds, and sovereign wealth funds, this is a senior commercial role offering the opportunity to work with market-leading SaaS solutions that support investment workflows, portfolio monitoring, investor intelligence, and capital raising.
The firm is a recognised provider of enterprise-grade platforms used by investment professionals to manage operational risk, strengthen investor relationships, and gain competitive insight. Backed by strong data assets and integration capabilities, the business is expanding its footprint across EMEA and looking for an experienced commercial leader to drive that growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and strategic account expansion across buy-side institutions
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers including COOs, Heads of Investor Relations, Distribution, and Compliance
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with long-term relationship management and solution selling at the core
- Work closely with internal teams to align client needs with product capabilities and roadmap
- Stay current on regulatory developments, investor behavior trends, and technology adoption across the investment management industry
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, events, and client forums across the region
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally in investment management, alternatives, or fintech
- Strong understanding of buy-side operations, fund marketing, capital raising, or investor servicing workflows
- Demonstrable experience selling SaaS platforms into institutional asset managers or alternative investment firms
- Commercially driven with a track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex sales environments
- Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders and navigate multi-level sales cycles
- Self-starter with strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
