We are seeking an experienced Planning Lead to join our client’s team, overseeing the planning and scheduling of data centre projects in Derry as well as other large-scale developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning within the MEP, mission-critical, or large infrastructure sectors and be proficient in Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules for data centre and large-scale construction projects, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Design Teams to coordinate planning and scheduling activities.
- Conduct critical path analysis (CPA) and identify potential risks or delays, providing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and cost tracking to ensure project objectives are met.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective planning.
- Implement best practices in construction planning, sequencing, and reporting to enhance efficiency.
- Support tendering and pre-construction teams with programme development and feasibility analysis.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project planning within data centres, MEP, or large construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project scheduling software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and resource planning.
- Experience working with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services in high-tech environments is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
