An exciting opportunity has arisen for a kit assistant to join the team at Forest Green Rovers. As kit assistant, you will take ownership of preparing all training kit for the players and staff, and you will also support training sessions. You will be highly organised and have excellent communication skills. The role will be stadium based for home match days and you will need to travel to away games.

Main duties will include:

  • Management of the training kit daily for players and staff
  • Laundry of kits (on site)
  • Supporting the stadium-based kit assistant when required
  • Cleaning the changing rooms and ensuring it is kept to a high standard at all times
  • Responsible for stock levels of all training and travel wear, and re-ordering in good time as and when required
  • Ensure training equipment is always clean and ready for use
  • Ensure the drug testing area is clean and presentable at all times
  • Supporting matchday set up for home and away games, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Away games may require overnight stays
  • Personalisation of player and staff kit when required
  • Carry out administrative tasks related to kit and equipment as required
  • Report any losses of kit to the Club
  • Responsible for ordering of training equipment as requested by the Manager
  • Travel and support the First Team on pre-season tour, as required

You’ll have the skillset to deliver the duties listed above, and an attitude that ties in with the progressive, friendly nature of FGR.
