Salary: £70,471 - £75,546 plus a Market Related Payment of up to £7,554.60 and a Car Allowance of £4,097.75 per annum.
Lead, inspire and develop our Finance team. Sevenoaks District Council provides a unique opportunity for you as we are financially self-sufficient and have two companies that you'll play a key role in.
You’ll have responsibility for the continued delivery of the Council's budget strategy and generating income from existing (and new) assets to provide the foundations for delivering the Council's vision. You’ll also take the financial lead on a variety of different projects across the Council, providing advice and guidance on financial viability.
You’ll provide the Finance team with direction and guidance, ensuring that the team deliver a high-quality service with a commitment to enhancing skills and knowledge. With your leadership, the Council's financial service will continue to flourish and develop to enhance the Council's success, whatever the future may hold.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (3 days p/w) and home working (2 days p/w).
