Jo Holdsworth Recruitment are delighted to be working with a highly successful company in Leeds. Due to their continued growth and success, they are looking to recruit a Business Development Representative (BDR) which is an integral role within the New Business Development team. In this role you will be responsible for generating new business by following up on inbound marketing leads, sourcing outbound leads, qualifying interested prospects, and setting up meetings for the Senior Regional Sales Managers that adhere to the qualification guidelines. This is an exciting opportunity to join the company during a time of growth.

To be successful in this role, you will open the sales cycle, build value, handle objections, create urgency, nurture relationships, and collaborate strategically with the Senior Regional Sales Managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify potential new clients through focused research and cold calling.
  • Use a defined sales process to book meetings with decision makers for the Senior Regional Sales Managers to hold.
  • Work collaboratively to plan targeted outreach and generate opportunities with Enterprise and Strategic sized clients.
  • Hold consultative, discovery / qualification calls (telephone and video conference) with prospects across UKIMEA.
  • Develop and articulate various high-impact messaging that resonates with different prospects.
  • Use initiative to develop new and innovative demand generation ideas.
  • Qualification of inbound leads generated through web and marketing campaign leads.
  • Proactively scanning the market for networking opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly and quarterly new business KPIs and objectives.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified or equivalent preferred.
  • Full UK driving license and use of own car.
  • Minimum 1 years B2B sales experience in an equivalent role, with a focus on value-based selling methodologies is preferred.
  • Good understanding of how to identify customer needs.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good track record of delivering results and working towards sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Natural and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
