We are looking for a motivated and organized Engineering Storeman to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in managing the storage and distribution of engineering materials and equipment, ensuring smooth operations within our organization. As part of the role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing stock levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to support our engineering operations. Additionally, you will handle various administrative tasks to coordinate procurement and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform goods receipt tasks, including booking in deliveries, checking quantities, labeling, and storing goods correctly.
  • Conduct accurate daily and weekly stock duties, including cycle counts, and place orders for materials and tools.
  • Follow health and safety protocols and complete quality checks in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in all work areas, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Handle all associated administrative and documentation tasks with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar Storeman role within manufacturing or engineering.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Materials: A basic understanding of engineering components and their applications.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to systematically store and retrieve materials, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory management and documentation.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office suite.
  • Safety Consciousness: Adherence to safety protocols when storing and handling materials.
