Present in over 20 countries, our client is well established and trusted in their sector within professional services. They are moving their team to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Leeds city centre and are seeking a Front of House Assistant to manage the entrance of the building for an initial 6 month period.

The fantastic space opens very soon and includes hot desks and meeting rooms, a bar area, a gym, a yoga studio, and a planned roof terrace. To ensure this space offers a premium experience, we are recruiting for a proactive and enthusiastic Front of House Assistant.

The Role

  • You will be the first point of contact for staff, clients, and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include reception management, client services, and building operations support.
  • Front Desk Management: Welcome visitors, manage building access, and maintain a professional first impression.
  • Meeting Room & Desk Coordination: Oversee booking systems for meeting rooms and hot desks, ensuring spaces are prepared for use.
  • Client Services: Order and serve refreshments, including specialty coffees and drinks from the bar taps.
  • Facilities Support: Provide basic IT assistance (e.g., AV equipment, Wi-Fi) and manage access cards for building facilities.
  • Event Support: Assist with external client bookings and future rooftop events.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations Director and Project Manager to ensure seamless service delivery.

The Person:

  • The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' experience in a busy, client-facing role. You'll be proactive, highly organised, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. With a smart, professional appearance, you'll embody the business ethos of excellence.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to grow in the role.
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and maintain attention to detail.
  • Experience in hospitality or events is a plus, though not essential.
