About the Job
An experienced and dynamic leader you will establish and grow Unipart’s Supply Chain Consultancy practice, responsible for developing and executing a compelling strategy to drive revenue growth, develop market-leading propositions, and lead a team of expert supply chain consultants through complex delivery projects, to ensure that our reputation in the marketplace continues to strengthen. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, the ability to develop strategic partnerships, and the capability to engage with senior stakeholders in both existing and new customers. You will work closely with the Managing Director and Commercial Director, Consultancy to achieve ambitious growth targets and expand our consultancy footprint through industry ambassadors and partners, and work with customers to solution, lead and deliver supply chain designs and improvements.
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
- Define and execute the strategic direction for Unipart’s Supply Chain Consultancy practice
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of expert supply chain consultants
- Hold P&L responsibility for the Supply Chain practice, ensuring the practice achieves financial targets
- Develop the organisation design to enable the introduction and growth of new capabilities for delivery in a controlled approach
- Ensure the wider Unipart business is appropriately aware of and supported by the supply chain consultancy
- Work collaboratively with the Commercial Director, Consultancy to drive sales growth through new and existing customers, Unipart relationships, industry ambassadors, and partners
- Generate sales of more than £1.5 million per annum
- Identify and develop strong technology partnerships to enhance Unipart’s value proposition
- Develop compelling thought leadership and marketing strategies to position Unipart as a leader in supply chain consultancy
- Establish Unipart as a trusted advisor within core sectors, leveraging existing networks and industry knowledge
- Introduce and develop relationships with senior members of the target client organisations across multiple sectors
- Oversee the successful delivery of supply chain transformation and improvement projects
- Ensure client engagements drive measurable impact and align with their strategic objectives
- Enable growth through existing client engagements, achieving a high client retention and extension rate
- Enable resource planning of the supply chain teams to ensure availability of both employed, associates and partners to deliver client requirements promptly
- Maintain a strong understanding of emerging trends and innovations in supply chain management to continuously refine Unipart’s service offerings
