We are currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team in a nursing home in Southport. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care to elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Supporting residents with mobility, meals, and general daily tasks
- Observing and reporting any changes in residents' health or wellbeing
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Working collaboratively with other care staff to ensure high standards of care
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months UK experience in a healthcare or care home setting (essential)
- A caring, empathetic, and professional attitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work across 7 days, including weekends
- Preferably a driver due to hours
