Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Chiller Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for repair & maintenance of chillers, air-handling units and pumps whilst out for hire. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain & repair chillers.
  • Diagnose faults and repair of chiller, and related equipment.
  • Ensure all paperwork and F-gas Documentation is correctly filled in and filed.
  • Obtain details and order parts for repair as required.
  • Ensuring equipment is clean and in good condition.

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • F-Gas Certificate.
  • City of Guilds or NVQ in Refrigeration.
  • 3 years experience in Refrigeration / Air-conditioning.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Good time keeping / Work ethic.

Desirable:

  • Electrical Qualifications / experience.
  • Forklift License.
  • Previous experience of HVAC hire industry.
