A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver large-scale industrial new build projects along the M1 corridor. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Role:

You will take full responsibility for the management and delivery of major industrial projects, typically involving large-scale steel frame construction up to £40 million in value. Projects include new-build warehouses, logistics hubs, and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all site-based activities from pre-construction through to completion
  • Lead site teams and manage subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, design, and planning teams
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing large steel frame projects up to £40 million
  • Strong background in delivering industrial new builds
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites on the M1 corridor
