The location of the role is Paddington, London (hybrid working).
The duration of the contract is 12 months.
The pay rate on offer is £20 – £25 per hour.
The client is a multinational high-street retailer.
Role Summary
Responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, providing the best experience for our customers, brand partners and colleagues. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth functioning of various operational processes.
You will be motivated to problem solve and take ownership for driving results in a fast-moving space, working with multiple stakeholder groups. You have great analytical and communication skills, and experience working on Oracle Netsuite.
Key accountabilities of the role
- Order Fulfilment:
- Monitor automated order processing flow, from receipt to shipment, ensuring accuracy, timely fulfilment, and adherence to customer requirements.
- Investigate and resolve root cause of any issues.
- Application of interim, manual solutions where necessary to ensure continuity of service
- Process daily order approvals (exchanges, fraudulent, missing information)
- Inventory Management:
- Investigate stock level discrepancies and supporting with ad-hoc system reconciliation
- Ad-hoc processing of manual inventory adjustments to facilitate order processing
- Escalate substantial discrepancies to Operations Manager and 3PL warehouse
- Stock Transfers
- Raise transfer orders as requested by team (e.g. for popup locations and marketing photoshoots)
- Arrange collections of consolidated returns from other Distribution Centres (DCs)
- Vendor / 3PL Management:
- Investigate inbound receipt discrepancies and manage ad-hoc reconciliation where necessary
- Monitor inbound reporting and escalate issues to Buying & Merchandising team
- Customer Service:
- Engage in day to day communication with customer service team on observed risks to customer order fulfilment, and provide ad-hoc support to resolve specific customer issues
- Project Support:
- Ad-hoc support of ongoing operational enhancements and projects
Key skills and experience
- Experience using Oracle Netsuite required
- Experience using RITHUM CommerceHub and Shopify are a plus
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to challenge, influence and inform stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to utilise data to make informed decisions.
- Time & expectation management – ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly comfortable using Microsoft Excel
- Experience working in fast paced ecommerce environments desirable
