The predicted salary is between 72000 - 108000 £ per year.

We now have an excellent opportunity to join our Strategic Risk Consultant (SRC) practice as a Senior Captive Consultant. We can consider candidates who have expert level captive experience. The role will be offered on a Hybrid basis, with an expectation of a minimum of 2 days per week in our London office.

The Role

Reporting to the UK based Regional Captive Advisory Lead (RCAL) in SRC you will work in unison with SRC and Captive & Insurance Management Solutions (CIMS) in creating new captive consultancy and captive management opportunities. You will represent SRC and CIMS interests internally (WTW brokers and colleagues) and externally (clients and prospects) in helping to promote our consulting services including providing general technical and utilisation advisory services.

New Business

  • The development of new business for the Company:
  • Provide proactive creation of a marketing and new business strategy in cooperation with the RCAL.
  • Implement marketing and new business strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities (including cross-selling opportunities) within existing and new client base.
  • Take responsibility for new business development projects.
  • Promote the Company within and outside WTW.
  • To provide technical advice on request within WTW.

Insurance

  • Liaison with insurance brokers, reinsurance brokers, and claims personnel as required.
  • Assessment of exposures and risk transfer pricing.

Finance

  • Monitoring and advising on:
  • Strategic utilisation solutions.
  • Solvency and capital requirements.
  • Captive regulatory framework.
  • Underwriting strategy for Captives.
  • Reserving methodology.
  • Captive management accounts, statutory accounts and information, budgets, cash flow statements and supplementary information as required.
  • Corporate Governance compliance.

Management

  • Proactively support and provide input on strategic and major operational issues. Assume responsibility for allocated projects.
  • To implement policies adopted by the team.
  • Contact is maintained with all client directors.
  • Keep leadership of pipeline, sales and project developments.
  • Ensure timely development and delivery of consulting projects.
  • Maintain clients & prospects relationships.

The Requirements

  • Captive consulting / management experience is required.
  • Insurance industry experience is required.
  • Experience to support independent delivery of captive consulting or captive management.
  • Advanced Computer Skills.

  • Ability to solve complex issues and will raise highly complex issues to higher level.
