We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team. You’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence, identifying new opportunities, and building lasting relationships with clients.

As a Business Development Officer, you will:

  • Identify and research potential markets and clients.

  • Develop strategies to secure new business opportunities.

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Note: Working hours are Monday-Friday 08.30-17.30., Identifying Opportunities:

  • Conduct market research and analyse industry trends.

  • Pursue target markets to generate leads.

Customer Relationships:

  • Build and sustain strong client relationships.

  • Attend networking events to expand connections.

Sales Growth:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.

  • Meet and exceed sales revenue targets through upselling and cross-selling.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with Sales Admin and Accounts teams.

  • Participate in weekly sales meetings to align on goals.

  • Has experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.

  • Possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Is confident, organised, and detail oriented.

  • Thrives on achieving targets and developing new business.

  • Has a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.

Experience in the Door Manufacturing or Architectural Ironmongery sector is a plus but not essential.

  • 25 days of annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays.
