SF Recruitment are working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business in their search for a Management Accountant. The position would suit a progressive individual with experience of working in Manufacturing and possess strong Cost Accounting skills. The role also requires an accountant with outstanding communication skills to provide business partnering across the company. As the Management Accountant you will join a small but well ran finance function reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner.
Duties of the Management Accountant include:
- Assisting with costings and BOMs
- Gross margin analysis
- Processing accruals, prepayments and nominal review
- Preparation of management accounts
- Preparation of sales and commercial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting in implementation of new stock system and stock control processes
- Month end stock valuation
- Preparing financial reporting and analysis
- Preparing KPIs to drive business performance
- Other ad hoc duties
The ideal Management Accountant will have experience in a similar position, be working towards or have a recognised qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA). Although QBE accountants will also be strongly considered. The business partner would have strong Excel skills, analytical skills & the ability to liaise with all levels of staff. This position offers flexibility within the working hours but will be office based.
