We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Business Support Officer to join an established Children’s Services team at Barnsley Council. In this role, you will support the Local Authority Designated Officers and the Independent Reviewing Officers. Your work will help ensure smooth operations and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to the community. 37 hours per week £14.40 LTD per hour inclusive of Holiday pay 6 month initial contract with possibility of extension after this Responsibilities Provide confidential business support services to statutory and front line services. Respond to enquiries, offering guidance and support to internal and external customers. Manage correspondence and liaise with stakeholders, including managers and the public. Support statutory meetings, recording decisions in real-time. Organise meetings, appointments, and diaries for attendees. Assist with project work, research, and report production. Perform administrative tasks and maintain accurate records. Handle financial administration tasks, such as placing orders and processing payments.
