Director of Health and Safety FTSE-250 Property | Manchester/Newcastle £6-figures plus benefits We’re very pleased to be partnering with a FTSE250 property organisation, who are looking to bring onboard a new Director of Health and Safety to lead the strategy and management of health and safety across their multibillion-pound residential property portfolio. The company is a leading build-rent provider across numerous properties located in different regions of the UK, and the role will be predominantly based out of both their Northwest and Northeast hubs. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead health and safety in a professional and dynamic working environment. Responsibilities of the Director of Health and Safety will include: Provide expert guidance and leadership to the Board of Directors and engage with all staff across the organisation on health and safety issues Ensure a culture of best practice health and safety across the business and diverse portfolio, ensuring regulatory compliance Ensure activities across the portfolio are properly risk assessed and manage a regular audit programme to evaluate performance Develop and strategically lead the health and safety management system, seek opportunities to improve and enhance the overall Health and safety strategy and performance The successful Director of Health and Safety will have: Must have proven senior experience in a similar role within the world of real estate (commercial and/or residential) Must have strong experience (with examples) of influencing the Board/C-Suite (as well as all other levels) NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) Chartership of IOSH (or working towards) Must be happy to travel between both Manchester and Newcastle every week This is an excellent opportunity to join an established property company with a long history and strong heritage.
