Position: Resident Multi-Skilled Engineer
Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum

TecRec are currently searching for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on a brand-new commercial development in the heart of London's West End. This is to work for an engineering firm that are experts in facilities management, they install, maintain and maximise technical systems within the built environment. Our client was formed over 30 years ago and has now developed into a thriving independent building services engineering provider with an outstanding reputation in the market.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established maintenance provider who invest both time and training into their employees.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
Overtime: To be available for a minimum of 1x contracted Saturday per month for supervision of subcontractors and out of hours PPMs.
The ideal candidate will come from a building services background. Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
- Completing building services tasks, including knowledge and user management of BMS monitoring/management, emergency lighting repairs, fire alarm systems, pumps, FCUs (service and repairs), AHUs, and all other HVAC plant.
- Water Treatment: Knowledge and understanding of ACOP L8 and carrying out water treatment tasks.
- Ensuring all reactive repairs are undertaken safely and within appropriate time scales.
- Raising any hazards that arise on site from reporting to rectification.
- Working with site wide plant and equipment and maintaining a positive relationship with the Landlord team.
- A helpful and professional approach with direct contact with the client on a weekly basis.
- Availability for regular and required out of hours work paid at the agreed overtime rate.
