Vitaflo (International) Ltd is currently looking to recruit an Industrialisation Technologist (Liquids) to work at our Liverpool Headquarters on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting directly into the Industrialisation Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and documenting process related technical information to assist in the development of manufacturing protocols and processing instructions for new and existing liquid products. You would also be responsible for data analysis in the validation and verification of products and processes to ensure products and manufacture are consistent. Proactively identify key areas to improve business & manufacturing processes and support sustainability initiatives.
As an Industrialisation Technologist (Liquids), your main responsibilities will consist of the following:
- Working closely with the NPD team supporting development and introduction of new products into our manufacturing network.
- Supporting product or process introductions and routine production, by attending & supervising trials, visits and meetings at contract manufacturers. This will typically account for ~20% of the role depending on the needs of the business.
- Problem solving, including the investigation of product/process related complaints, identifying and implementing corrective and preventative actions as necessary.
- Compiling and approving recipes, manufacturing methods, product and packaging specifications.
- Technical approval of raw materials following changes to raw material, product or process.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science or Technology.
- Experience in an Industrialisation / Product or Process Development / Technical role.
- Knowledge of Thermal Processing methods is desirable but not essential.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Great team player with excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
- Results focused with the ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail that reflects thorough and accurate work.
- Able to build strong relationships with immediate team and key stakeholders.
- Proficient in IT packages inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

- Highly motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
