Electrical Maintenance Engineer

What is on offer for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer? * £58.4k Package * 4 on 4 off Shifts (07:00-19:00 – 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off) * Liverpool * 21 days of holiday * Huge investment plans and ongoing projects * New automation and controls systems investment Person Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer: * Time served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry * Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND * Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments * Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency Job Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer: Working predominantly as the electrical maintenance engineer within a large team, you will ideally have experience of fast paced manufacturing environments with an electrical bias, with sound working knowledge of automation and PLC tasks (Siemens idealy). * Work in partnership with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery. * Electrically biased and capable with controls and automation. * Working within a challenging environment, getting stuck in and involved in ‘dirty’ tasks. * Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery. * Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules. * Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
