HGV 1 Driver – Glasgow Cambuslang

Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park – HGV Class 1 – New pass Drivers welcome with previous class 2 experience.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers for our depot in Cambuslang – Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 – 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages.

Permanent contract for successful candidate.

Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts patterns available:

• Thursday – Monday 05:00
• Sunday to Thursday 05:00
• Thursday – Monday 00:00
• Saturday – Tuesday 05:00
• Tuesday – Saturday 03:00
• Tuesday – Friday 00:00
• Wednesday – Saturday 00:00
• Monday – Thursday 00:00
• Friday – Monday 00:00
• Thursday – Monday 05:00

Day pay rates: (PAYE)

• Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
• Saturday £17.85
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80

Nights pay rates: (PAYE)

• Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
• Saturday £20.39
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
