Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English-qualified lawyer to join our client’s London-based team. This role will primarily focus on leveraged finance work, offering the opportunity to advise on high-value, market-leading transactions across a range of industries. The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse mix of lender and sponsor-side mandates, often with an international scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on a broad range of complex leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition finance, refinancing, and recapitalisations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate key financing documents including facility agreements, intercreditor agreements, and security packages.
  • Work closely with partners and colleagues in other jurisdictions to manage cross-border deals.
  • Provide commercial and strategic legal advice to financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
  • 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong background in leveraged finance gained at a well-regarded law firm.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions independently and as part of a team.
