Life are looking for a data driven, numerate HR Generalist for an initial 8 month contract who is available at short notice to start after Easter / latest first week May. This is a contract until the end of 2025, and will require someone to have a good understanding of the full HR lifecycle but also a passion and interest for payroll.
You'll be working in a small team, supporting the business with a range of HR activities including:
- Overseeing the benefits process, including renewals and communications
- Managing all employee lifecycle admin such as maternity, paternity, contracts and exit interviews
- Working closely with managers to provide 1st line support and guidance, coaching them as required on all performance, absence, maternity and capability queries
- Leading on the monthly payroll process, getting into the detail of the data to ensure everyone is paid correctly and on time
- Working with the payroll provider to resolve any payroll queries and checking the data before submission
- Co-ordinating all recruitment administration, ensuring a great candidate experience and supporting with the hiring of great people into the business
- Updating the HRIS with all changes, promotion details etc.
- Managing the onboarding and offboarding process and carrying out inductions for all new starters
This is a great role to work in a small team and support on various ad-hoc projects. You'll need to be data savvy, happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into the detail, be able to juggle multiple projects and priorities at once. Brilliant manager who will get you involved and give you autonomy to learn and take on new things.
Experience of working with ADP and Success Factors would be a distinct advantage. 3 days a week in the office. Parking available. Ideally looking for someone to start after Easter / 1st week May latest and commit until the end of 2025. There is potential for the role to go permanent or be extended for the right individual. You will be paid via an umbrella company.
