An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental & Sustainability Manager to join a high-performing SHEQ team, working across a diverse portfolio within the organisations property services division. This is a strategic leadership role, offering the chance to coach, advise, and guide operational teams and supply chain partners to deliver legislative compliance, innovative solutions, and lasting environmental impact.
Reporting into the Director of SHEQ, you will take ownership of the environmental and sustainability function, helping shape and execute a forward-thinking ESG strategy aligned with national carbon reduction and Net Zero goals.

The successful Environmental & Sustainability Manager will:
- Hold IEMA Level 5 in Environmental Management (or equivalent).
- Ideally hold a Lead Auditor in ISO 14001.
- Be confident in influencing, coaching, and training others at all levels across a business.
- Demonstrate strong experience in developing and implementing environmental and sustainability strategies.
- Have excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to drive behavioural change and continuous improvement.
- Possess an understanding of carbon reduction strategies, incident investigation, and environmental risk mitigation.
- Be confident managing relationships with external bodies including the HSE and Environment Agency.
- Be comfortable working both on-site and at a strategic level, with strong data reporting and dashboard skills.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
In return, the successful individual will receive:
- £60,000 - £65,000
