Butler Rose, public practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a highly prominent, well known mid-size Leicester accountancy practice ranked in the top-60 that are eager to appoint a skilled Personal Tax Semi-Senior to complement the existing tax department.
Role Requirements –

Providing an efficient, client focussed and proactive service to meet the needs of private clients.

To liaise proactively with clients on advisory matters.

Working with directors and managers on technical assignments.

Managing day to day client portfolio including billing and monitoring work in progress.

Ensuring that the firm’s risks are managed appropriately.

Liaising with HMRC in relation to client matters and dealing with enquiries from HMRC.

To meet new clients with the appropriate partner/director and be a main point of contact with those clients going forward.

Preparing personal and partnership tax returns.

To review personal and partnership tax returns prepared by more junior members of staff / prepare complex compliance cases.

Ideally ATT studying or qualified.

Current experience of private client/personal tax working for a reputable accounting firm.

Highly proficient in carrying out tax compliance as well as proving tax advisory services to clients.
