We are currently looking for a Homologation Manager (EV) for our client, a leading electric and hydrogen bus company. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal departments and external authorities to ensure compliance, as well as overseeing periodic assessments, approvals, and audits.
The Homologation Manager (EV) will:
- Obtain and maintain Vehicle Type Approval and CoP (conformity of production) clearance for products, in conjunction with other departments.
- Develop and manage test plans, test strategies, and audit programmes, coordinating with both internal teams and external agencies.
- Ensure periodic assessments and audits are planned and executed to maintain compliance with all granted approvals and CoP clearances.
- Produce and collate reports/documentation, including 2D CAD drawings, for submission to approval authorities.
- Oversee the development and execution of in-house testing plans and quality checks to ensure compliance with approval and CoP standards.
- Ensure all work complies with the ISO 9001 standard and internal quality systems.
The Homologation Manager (EV) will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 5 years proven experience in a homologation / compliance / quality-based role within an engineering and manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
- Competence in MS Office Applications, including MS Word and Excel.
- Theoretical knowledge of good engineering disciplines.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
