Established in 1982, Halcyon Gallery is a leading international art gallery specialising in modern and contemporary art. This includes exceptional living artists, such as Dominic Harris and Bob Dylan, as well as Impressionist and Modern works (including Warhol, Monet, Picasso, Hockney).
As part of our commitment to providing our clients with art of the highest quality, we are looking for exceptionally talented and dedicated individuals with a passion for sales.
These are key roles within the organisation as you will be the main point of contact for our customers, and their satisfaction comes first.
Our galleries are located in Mayfair, with a further gallery in Harrods, Knightsbridge.
The roles will suit experienced and passionate sales executives who have a track record of developing strong, effective, long-term relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to initiate, develop and see through sales of artwork to clients on an ongoing basis, establishing and nurturing long term relationships and building collections with your clients.
Requirements
- Experience of at least 5 years in a previous high end sales role (art experience less important than motivation as we will provide training); please note you do need to be able to demonstrate that you have hit targets consistently in previous role(s)
- Experience and understanding of the ‘high end luxury customer’, and what they are looking for
- Highly motivated
- Excellent communicator at all levels, especially verbally but also in writing
- Very well presented, polished and affable
- Willingness to learn about art, become the expert and converse with authority

Candidates must be qualified to work within the UK. Additional languages are useful.
