About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Design Delivery Lead to work within the Cornerstone’s Engineering team. The primary objective of this role is to enhance the design delivery function within our organisation. This will be achieved by providing strong people-focused leadership to a team of project-based Design Delivery Managers. The successful candidate will possess excellent site design knowledge, be a natural leader, and drive digital transformation initiatives. This role requires the ability to generate ideas to increase design supplier productivity and improve design throughput whilst driving a cultural shift towards a "right first time" mentality. The Design Lead will also be responsible for managing robust data and reporting systems, executing design approval processes, and developing strong relationships with partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership to a team of project-based Design Delivery Managers.
  • Actively seek opportunities to increase design productivity without compromising quality.
  • Execute processes and strategies to minimise design errors and rework.
  • Monitor design resource requirements to ensure effective and continuous project support.
  • Focus on Cornerstone meeting and exceeding SLAs from a design perspective. You will closely monitor progress, proactively address bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Contribute to the organisation's digital transformation initiatives related to design.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the operational delivery teams on design matters.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Strong leadership/management experience.
  • Significant mobile infrastructure site design experience.
  • Track record of successful design delivery.
  • CDM Regulations.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
