Exciting opportunity for a talented FD who is or has recently been in a Divisional FD for a leading FTSE 250 company. This role will give someone the opportunity to take their first no.1 role in finance, making a real impact in a high-performance, capital-intensive environment.

Location: London (5 days a week in the office)

Key Requirements:

  • Industry experience in Logistics, Oil & Gas, or any Blue Collar/Heavy Asset business.
  • A deep technical understanding of CAPEX/OPEX in an asset-heavy, capital-intensive business.
  • Experience with weekly transactions averaging 6 figures minimum.
  • Strong background in IFRS and UK GAAP, with technical reporting expertise.
  • Willingness to get involved in cross-functional transformation projects (finance, procurement, operations, IT, and billings).
  • Board-level exposure, reporting directly to the C-suite.
  • Oversight of global financial reporting, accounts, AP/P2P, O2C, and disbursements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across all financial metrics - P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and fleet performance.
  • Drive process optimization, ensuring ROI on transformation projects.
  • Align financial strategy with the wider business objectives across various departments.

Desired Profile:

  • ACA qualified (preferred).
  • Strong academic background with a solid understanding of global regulations, compliance, and governance.

Salary Expectations: £250k - £350k + bonus. Note: Only candidates who can serve 3 months' notice or less will be considered.
